The creatures that took over the Von Braun and its military chaperon, Rickenbacker, were able to both telepathically and physically overtake a human body. They were never this well disguised, but it may be a strain of the worms I am not familiar with.
And when I say well-disguised, I mean she is not malformed nor a mind-slave. She still does not look like Rebecca Siddons, however. Her mannerisms are also very discrepant.
